This is my friend Stubby. You cannot see it, but Stubby has a stubby tail with a strange new growth starting. I noted when doing this photo that he also has a few notches in his right ear! Not sure how long squirrels live, but Stubby has been our friend since before the hurricanes in 2004. He was not around after the storms and we thought we lost him. His mate was lost as she did not return when he did.

Well, one good way to recognize him would I guess be by the growth on the tail and the notches on the ear! He seems like a friendly little guy!
